Every spring, millions of Americans declutter their lives – and in the process create huge piles of clothes and household goods. But by donating clothing, electronics, furniture, household goods, and vehicles to be sold in The Salvation Army Family Stores, anyone can help transform lives in our community.
For more than 100 years, programs at The Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) have provided spiritual, social, and emotional assistance for men and women who have lost the ability to cope with their problems and provide for themselves. The Salvation Army is the largest provider of residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs in the country, and we’re humbled to serve so many.
The ARC relies solely on the generosity of individuals who donate goods to be sold in the Family Stores to fund our rehabilitation centers. And that means that the more people reduce and recycle this spring, the more men and women who struggle with addiction can get the help they need.
