The Salvation Army offers a variety of programs to assist incarcerated men and women, those in transition from prison to the community and troubled youth. These include Bible Correspondence Courses, a transportation program to help families visit incarcerated relatives, a Christmas gift program for children of the incarcerated and Chaplaincy services.
Correctional Ministry Volunteers are needed to:
- Help us with Worship services held at prisons on weekends
- Travel with us during December as we make Christmas visits
- Grade and log correspondence course work
- Process and mail Certificates of Completion
- Administrative and clerical tasks
