The Salvation Army and Walmart have joined forces to provide new school supplies to local children in need during the “Stuff the Bus” campaign event.
In-store shoppers on August 3, 2019 received lists of supplies needed and all they had to do is shop and drop their “Stuff the Bus” purchases off in our Salvation Army collection bins that will be located outside of several local area Walmart locations in Travis and Williamson counties.

There are many local kids heading back to school this year without the essential school supplies needed, but you can help. By donating school supplies for a child in need, you’re easing the burden parents experience at the start of the school year, and helping set the right tone for these kids as they head back to school. It’s the boost of confidence they need to have a successful year!
We are still taking online donations until Friday, August 9. Click on the Walmart Wish List button below and you will find all the items needed. You can make your purchases on the wish list and the items will be sent directly to us.
All donations made at “Stuff the Bus” will remain in Travis and Williamson counties to be distributed to local children.
