Back to School supplies are now on the shelves at local retail stores, so parents will soon begin preparations to fill their children’s lists. But more than 100 children living with their families in our emergency shelters are not able to afford the proper clothing or supplies to start school this fall. The Salvation Army has begun work to ask for donations to provide school clothes and supplies for these children so they are able to start school with the same excitement and readiness as all other children, and we need your help.
Donating school supplies is easy! You can make a monetary donation, or shop on our wish list button below and the supplies will be delivered directly to our office.
Donation Deadline: Friday, August 9, 2019
You can also drop off the supplies at:

The Salvation Army runs and operates two emergency shelters, serving more than 100 children of all ages, from birth through seniors in high school, on any given day.
“Our children often come to us with just the clothes on their back. Giving them new clothes and school supplies is an amazing way to start their school year off,” says Donna Clendennen, Volunteer Coordinator at The Salvation Army of Austin.
