The Rathgeber Center is currently completing construction and expected to open late Summer 2019. This 212-bed family shelter will be flexible to accommodate families of all sizes needing emergency shelter. Once at the Rathgeber Center, a Case Manager will work individually with each family to help them on their journey from homelessness to self-sufficiency. Building a brand-new shelter from the ground up is similar to building a house – only this house will shelter 212+ at a time – so more of everything is needed.
If you are interested in making a donation to the Rathgeber Center, please consider one of the items on the list below or shop at the Amazon or Walmart shopping links below and select an item (or multiple) that you would like to give to help The Salvation Army make sure these families have all that they need while they are working hard to get back on their feet!
