A Day of Giving benefiting The Salvation Army, serving Travis and Williamson counties, was a great success. With the generosity of this community, we raised more than $750,000 to continue our mission of helping struggling individuals and families move from homelessness to self-sufficiency.
Thank you to our presenting sponsor, John Paul DeJoria and JP’s Peace, Love, and Happiness Family Foundation for your support!
We would also like to thank the many volunteers who took time out of their day to come and answer phone to take donation pledges. We could not have done this event without you!
Presenting Sponsor
Our emergency shelter cost per bed night is $40. Funds raised during A Day of Giving will create an impact of 12,500 nights of safe sleep and warm meals for Central Texan men, women, and children in need. With your continued support, The Salvation Army Austin is ready to help Central Texans regain their self-sufficiency.
If you were not able to donate during our event, please consider making a donation today.

We case manager hundreds from crisis to stability and self-sufficiency.
