This year’s Amplify Austin Day was incredibly successful for The Salvation Army and many other nonprofits in Central Texas. Our community gave $71,891 through the generosity of 247 donors. In addition to the overwhelming community support, The Carl C. Anderson & Marie Jo Anderson Charitable Foundation, the Shield-Ayres Foundation, and the I Live Here, I Give Here Amplify Disaster Relief Fund have matched over $30,000. In total, The Salvation Army raised more than $100,000.

The most vulnerable in our community has been hit especially hard by the recent winter storm and the ongoing pandemic. Your support makes a major impact on our ability to provide shelter, meals, and support services to local individuals and families experiencing homelessness or on the verge of homelessness.

We would like to thank everyone who participated in Central Texas’ biggest day of giving. Through your generosity, we will continue to help those most vulnerable.
