The Williamson County Service Center offers urgently-needed services to adults and children facing the possibility of homelessness in Williamson County. The Service Center offers intake and assessment of the needs of men, women and children, provides direct services (e.g., food, rent and utility assistance) and refers qualified individuals to other important social services. The Service Center also supports the community with a nursing home ministry, a youth music program, summer camp, and outreach to a disadvantaged neighborhood. Clients are seen on a referral basis from other local agencies. For questions, please call the Service Center at 512-943-8421.
The Williamson County Service Center opened in 2014 to provide financial assistance and a food pantry, along with other programs and services to Williamson County individuals and families who are living in the first stages of financial crisis. The goal is to prevent homelessness by helping people become self-sufficient again. Other programs offered by the Service center are a character building and music program, summer camp for the children and community outreach to a disadvantage neighborhood. We are able to provide these services in our community, thanks to the generosity of supporters like you!
The Service Center also closely collaborates with other agencies and churches in Williamson County (see below) in the area to ensure that we are not duplicating services. We work together to help neighbors in need receive the help they are seeking.
We are working with a growing list of agencies, including The Caring Place, St. Vincent De Paul, The Round Rock Area Serving Center, Operation Liberty Hill, local school districts and a number of churches.
