• Sunset Valley: 5017 E HWY 290
• Cedar Park: 2801 E. Whitestone

In light of COVID-19, The Salvation Army has adapted its services to ensure that children in every community can continue receiving the educational support they deserve. This year, the “Stuff the Box” campaign is one of more than 4,500 similar school supply drives taking place at Walmart stores across the country.

“We are reaching out to the community for help to provide school supplies to the children who are living in our shelters who are not able to afford those items critical to success in school,” said Major Lewis Reckline, Austin Area Commander for The Salvation Army. “We anticipate the number of those in need will increase significantly this year due to the pandemic and struggling economy.”

Those wanting to contribute can also shop the Walmart and Amazon back to school supply list from our website by visiting All supplies will be delivered directly to our office and will remain in Travis and Williamson counties to be distributed to local children, including the more than 50 students living at the Austin Shelter for Women and Children and The Rathgeber Center for Families.
