The Salvation Army, Rooted in Austin, Growing Hope Together: Through Love, Service, Restoration

Inspired by our Christian mission, The Salvation Army Austin provides resources and support to uplift our neighbors when they need it the most. Our mission is driven by a goal to connect generosity with transformation. We want to transform your generosity into visible love, service, and long-term restoration for individuals experiencing homelessness, housing instability, and crisis in our city.

RESTORATION

Restoration grows where love and service meet. It is the ongoing work of walking alongside people as hope is rebuilt, stability is restored, and lives take root again.

“Oaks of Righteousness” from Isaiah 61 — reminds us that true restoration takes time, care, and deep roots. Just as oaks grow strong through steady nurturing, lasting change in Austin will come from consistent love, support, and long‑term commitment to those we serve.

Like a strong oak tree offering shelter and steady roots, Salvation Army Austin provides refuge, nourishing meals, and comfort to local families experiencing hardship and looking to rebuild. Your gift helps families take root, breaking the cycle of homelessness and allowing children to grow toward a more secure future.
